AutoCad Job 3 Years, 1 Month ago Karma: 0
I have learned AutoCad long back, got some short course about 2D and 3D but later on I forgot, recently I am planning to go back autocad, wanna get some course and wanna take this profession as a Cad drafter. I need honest advice from you guys, which would be good for me, I am serious now. What kind of course should I take to be a Cad drafter and also want to know the Job market ?

The best thing to do would be to take classes at a tech school. Enroll in a program that has drafting classes, math, english, materials, etc. Most tech schools have a 2 year degree program in drafting and teach on Autocad. As soon as you finish the program, take the ADDA certified drafter examination. This will give you an advantage in landing a job over anyone that does not have a certification.
