ADDA is currently working on two new examinations and certification levels.
These are the Apprentice Mechanical and Architectural Examinations.
These examinations are aimed toward the basic theory and skill levels.
With the release of the new apprentice level examinations, ADDA will be revising the Architectural Certified Drafrter and the Mechanical Certified Drafter to be more inclusive of the actual skill level of the certification title. There will be fewer questions on some subject matter and more questions on other subject matter. The examinations will take into consideration the individuals knowledge of the basics and concentrate on the core discipline.
Our projections are to have the new examinations and review material finalized and on-line by January 2010. If you are interested in participating in the alpha or beta process, please contact the corporate office..
Our on-line testing process in now underway. We are finalizing the structure of the examination data. ADDA plans to release the Apprentice and Certified Drafter levels of the Architectural and Mechanical Examinations simultaneously.
