About ADDA Recommended Publications

ADDA is in the process of working with several of the major publishing companies to approve publications which meet or exceed the criteria for the graphics industry.

The publications will cover topics such as Drafting, Design, Digital Imaging, Visual Communication, Mechanical Design, Architectural Design and other subject matter including specific software related to the profession.

Software publications are approved by ADDA only as a TECHNICAL REFERENCE. These publications relate to the use of a product necessary for the production of, or to deliver the end product of the design process. The Technical Reference signifies the publications contain the information necessary for an individual to be at productive using the product and contains all information necessary to deliver all the functions of the drafting design or graphic process related to the product..

These publications have been reviewed under criteria set by the related industry, through the related publication committee for the subject matter and is validated on a regular basis or noted changes are referred to the publisher and author for corrections and updates. It is the intent of the ADDA Approval Process to maintain open communication in order to continuously provide the most up-to-date information to the end user.
